Florence
Rich in history, art, architecture, music, and cuisine, Florence is a veritable 'best of' in the development of western culture. Thanks to a compact center, this capital city of 400,000 inhabitants, and birthplace of the Renaissance with hundreds of notable sights and museums, i still manageable for a pleasant visit.

- a chance to see some of the Renaissance's most famous artistic works including Michelangelo's David and Botticelli's Birth of Venus at the Accademia and the Ufizzi.
