The Artist in Residence Program, inaugurated in 2010, was born from the desire to keep the spirit of innovation and creativity alive within our walls and to make our space a haven for dedicated champions of those values.
Borgo Finocchieto is committed to serving as a gathering place of ideas by hosting events of intellectual and cultural significance.
We hope that here in the cradle of the Renaissance, surrounded by the manicured hillsides and wild forests, and enveloped in that special Italian brand of light, inspiration will come easily. We invite several established, mid-career artists annually for October and April residencies of three weeks.
